Pile Driver
Based on a 4 wheel drive log skidder this pile driver was designed to drive timber poles and steel rails along river banks to control erosion. Considerable design effort went into designing the mechanism to achieve compact furling/unfurling, without having to remove/disconnect any item, including the 750kg hammer, or the hoist cable.
As result the machine is highly productive as it can be driven quickly between locations, across paddocks, and on public roads, driving up to 30 piles per day.
