Credit Card Magnetic Stripe Machine
The familiar magnetic stripes on the backs of credit cards are applied by this machine.
Seven parallel strips are continuously bonded by heat to a PVC transfer film under closely controlled parameters, including temperature, pressure, and speed. The film is cut to length by a rotary guillotine, ready for laminating to the thick plastic sheets, 21 cards to a sheet.
Apologies to all for facilitating credit card proliferation.
